What is Sarvimo Khata?
An expense tracker for India. Add your daily expenses and monthly salary in rupees, see what is left, and share groups with friends and family to split bills.
Why is it invite-only?
We are opening Khata to a small group of people first, so we can improve it with their feedback. Join the waitlist and we will let people in step by step.
How do I get access?
Create a free Sarvimo account and tap Join the waitlist on this page. It takes under a minute. Or email support@sarvimo.com with the email you signed up with and your Sarvimo ID (it is on your account page). We check your account and open Khata for it.
What happens after I join the waitlist?
You get an email straight away saying you are on the list. When we approve your account you get a second email, “Congratulations, welcome to Sarvimo Khata”, and Khata opens for you.
How do I install it?
Open sarvimo.com/khata on your phone. On Android tap Install app (or the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen). On iPhone use Safari: Share, then Add to Home Screen. Then open Khata from your home screen and sign in.
Do I need to reinstall for updates?
No, never. The app loads the latest version every time you open it, so new features, screens and fixes simply appear.
Can I use it in my browser?
No. Khata works only as an installed app on your phone. In a browser you see this page with install steps, and nothing can be added or changed. That keeps your data safe and the experience smooth.
Is my money data private?
Your salary and income are visible only to you, even inside a shared group, and they stay hidden behind an eye icon until you tap it. People in a group see the group's expenses. Nobody outside your groups sees anything. You can also turn on an app lock with a PIN or fingerprint.
Does it work offline?
Khata needs an internet connection to open. If your signal drops while the app is open, expenses you add are kept on your phone and added automatically when you are back online.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. From Reports you can download a PDF, Excel or CSV for a day, a month, a year or any dates you choose.
Which languages are supported?
English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu for the main screens. Your own notes stay exactly as you write them.
