Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Files are deleted immediately after processing, with no retention window. Sarvimo does not use your files, or any content within them, to train, improve, or develop AI models, ours or any third party's.
1. Purpose of this policy
This policy explains what personal data Sarvimo (“we”, “us”) processes when you use sarvimo.com, why, for how long, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. You upload a file, our server processes it to do what you asked (merge, compress, convert, etc.), and sends the result back to you. We never inspect, share, sell, or use the content of your files for any purpose other than fulfilling that request — and, explicitly: Sarvimo does not use your files, or any content within them, to train, improve, or develop AI models, ours or any third party's.
2. Who operates Sarvimo
Sarvimo is currently operated by an individual founder based in India, in the process of formal business registration. Once incorporated, this section will be updated with the registered legal entity, its jurisdiction, and Data Protection Officer / Grievance Officer contact details as applicable. Until then, all data requests should be directed to the contact address in Section 11 — they will be handled personally by the founder, with a target response time of 30 days.
3. Personal data we process
- File content: uploaded temporarily to our server to process your request. Held only in server memory for the duration of that single request and discarded the moment the result is sent back to you — never written to disk, never logged, never retained. (For comparison, competitors such as iLovePDF publish a 2-hour retention window before deletion; Sarvimo's files are deleted immediately, with no retention window at all.)
- Account data (once account features launch): Sarvimo currently works entirely without an account. When sign-in launches, authenticating with Google will share your name, email address, and profile photo with us, used only to identify your account and manage your plan.
- Payment data (once paid plans launch): handled entirely by a third-party payment processor. We will never see, receive, or store your card or bank details — only the confirmation that a payment succeeded and which plan it was for.
- Technical and log data: standard server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp, which tool was used, response status) may be recorded briefly for security, abuse prevention, and fair use of free-tier limits — never tied to the content of a file.
- Communications: if you email us, we keep that correspondence to respond to and resolve your query.
4. Why we process it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Processing your file to deliver the tool you used | Necessary to perform the service you requested |
| Account creation and plan management | Necessary to perform our contract with you |
| Security, fraud, and abuse prevention | Our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and available |
| Responding to your support queries | Our legitimate interest / necessary to respond to you |
| Legal compliance (e.g. responding to a lawful request) | Legal obligation |
5. Cookies
Sarvimo does not currently set any cookies of any kind — no tracking, advertising, analytics, or functional cookies are in use today. As account and subscription features roll out, we will introduce a small number of essential cookies — to keep you signed in, and to fairly apply free-tier usage limits. A cookie notice will appear on the site when that happens, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes. A small number of service providers process limited data strictly on our behalf, under instructions to only use it to help operate Sarvimo:
- A hosting provider, to run the server that processes your requests.
- A database provider, to store account information for signed-in users (once launched).
- A payment processor, to handle subscription billing (once launched).
None of these providers receive your uploaded file content — only account and billing metadata where applicable. If any provider is located outside your country, your data may be transferred internationally; we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be protected, and once we have a registered legal entity, we will put formal transfer safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) in place with each provider as applicable.
7. Data breaches
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users and any relevant authorities as required by applicable law, without undue delay.
8. How long we keep data
- File content: not retained at all — discarded immediately after processing.
- Account data: kept for as long as your account is active, deleted upon account deletion request.
- Technical/log data: kept briefly for security purposes, then rotated out.
- Payment records: retained by our payment processor per their own policy and applicable financial record-keeping law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11 — we aim to respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, depending on your location you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example, India's Data Protection Board once operational, an EU data protection authority, or your state Attorney General in the US).
10. Children's privacy
Sarvimo is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law, if higher), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age.
